justinhikindrinkin is a simple blog of my hiking and drinking adventures. It will have a few pictures of my hikes with simple captions like, “Purty.” It is not meant as a trail guide. There are better sites for that. It will have pictures of beer with simple captions like, “Delicious.” It is not meant as a food guide. There are better sites for that. It is not meant to sell stuff. There are better sites for that. Though I may occasionally review items I like. Don’t get me wrong, if I can make money from this blog, I will. Can you blame me? But I won’t do it at the expense of my site. There won’t be ads popping up all over the page.
My goals for justinhikindrinkin are simple. They are all purely selfish. I’m trying to motorvate myself to do the things I ultimately enjoy, but often need an extra push to get started. I want to hike more. I want to write more. I want to travel more. Generally, I just want more adventures, experiences, and to try new things. All of this I can accomplish without justinhikindrinkin ever making a penny or getting a single click or view.
My long shot goal for justinhikindrinkin is that maybe I can get some free beer or maybe some free travel accommodations. I won’t endorse products that suck just to make a buck. But by all means, offer me a drink, a place to stay, or an adventure, and if I enjoy it I’ll happily say so on my blog.
Moon shot goal? Making a living traveling the world doing what I enjoy… But, you know, one hike at a time…
